Training Opportunities
From 2008 to 2010, SolarBC worked with Northern Lights College and other organizations to provide 20 Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA) Solar Thermal Installer Theory Courses in BC
We also provided three hands-on solar thermal installation courses, as well as two Solar Hot Water Installer refresher courses. We saw 54 individuals become CanSIA certified as a result of these training programs.

CanSIA Course Information
The two-day class course will provide: Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA) theory, which includes a review of installation procedures, practises and requirements. The Canadian Solar Domestic Hot Water (SDHW) Installer Certification Exam will follow, and is another one of the requirements to become a Certified Canadian SDHW System Installer. Online Fall Safety Training offered by YOW Canada Inc.
This online Fall Protection course is considered a "full course" and can also be used as "refresher training". A training certificate is issued and emailed to the Account Supervisor upon completion.www.yowcanada.com
