Guy Dauncey

Guy Dauncey is a speaker, author, and organizer who works to develop a positive vision of a sustainable future, and to translate that vision into action.

Guy's recent solar hot water installation on his home in Saanich, was an easy decision. "The sun is giving us free energy every year and it makes since to gather the solar energy available," he says, adding that it was a great learning experience and he hopes that his install will show others the great opportunity in solar hot water.

His latest book – The Climate Challenge: 101 Solutions to Global Warming was published in November 2009. He is the author or co-author of nine books, including the award-winning book Cancer: 101 Solutions to a Preventable Epidemic. In February 2010, he held The John J. Rhodes Chair in Public Policy and American Institutions in Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University.
