Globe Solar Energy Inc. (GSE) designs, manufactures and installs solar thermal systems in Canada and the USA. GSE focuses on the leading technology – evacuated tube-based solar thermal products for the North American market. In the past four years, GSE installed over 120 units installed in Ontario in 2006 and over 350 units in 2007. For 2008, GSE plans to sell over 1,500 solar hot water units, of which 1000 will be installed in Canada. With GSE’s extensive experience and in-depth resources, solar hot water in Canada will be quickly accelerated. Globe Solar Energy Inc. is a member of CanSIA in good standing. The GSE system has recently achieved CSAF379.1-88 approval for seasonal use, and is a Natural Resources Canada approved collector. The GSE system is approved for use at ambient temperatures above -10°C. Two independent means of freeze protection are expected to avoid freeze damage at ambient temperatures above -10°C. Complete draining of outdoor plumbing (including collector) will minimize the risk of freeze damage during periods when outdoor air temperatures of -10°C, or lower, are likely. GSE has also passed the Canadian National Solar Facility tests and is certified to European Solar Keymark standards.
