Join the City of Dawson Creek and take a tour of the Solar Hot Water Heating System at City Hall, and the Fire Hall. You can also take a tour a vacation trailer that has solar installed, get some popcorn from a popcorn machine that runs on solar photovoltaic battery power, and find out information on the Northern Lights College Solar Hot Water Course.

As an official SolarBC Solar Community, Dawson Creek has been exploring options for installation of solar hot water systems on commercial buildings. They are also identifying the need for policy tools, bylaws and financing options for this and other renewable energy improvements.
