We can take action to reduce our carbon footprint! Find out how at our information workshop, held at the Heritage Halll, located in the Island Savings Centre.

• Canadian Centre for Community Renewal: Michelle Colussi will be presenting on the topic of Transition Towns in Action, the movement in Europe to work as a collective action and transform the way communities are built, and the way we live as communities.

• BC Sustainable Energy Association: Presenting information on alternative energy solutions and those that are already operating in the world.

• SolarBC: Nitya Harris will talk about how to install a solar hot water wystem in your house. Save money with government-sponsored rebates up to $1625. Also find out how you can sign up to be one of a local group of 20 or more homeowners and solarbc will give you an additional $375 rebate to install a solar hot water system.... bringing the total in rebates to: $2000.
