SolarBC is proud to recognize TerraTek Energy Solutions Inc, based out of Courtenay BC, as our 2008 Installer of the Year, for recognition of their leadership in the installations of solar hot water systems in British Columbia.

“It was unexpected,” said owner Scott Fleenor. “We started four years ago installing three systems a year and now are installing fifty plus, so it feels good.”

Fleenor says the recognition shows they are moving forward and their hard work is starting to pay off. “This brings our company forward as an industry leader,” he explains. “And we’ll continue to strive to be leaders in the renewable energy sector in BC.”

Fleenor and TerraTek co-owner Landon Aldridge received the award at the 2009 Solar Summit, Friday February 20. “We thought the Summit was great. The amount of people there and the interest in it shows the industry is growing as a whole.”

TerraTek sells and installs a broad range of renewable energy technologies including solar, wind, and micro-hydro to suit power, hot water and space heating needs. They also carries rainwater collection and heat recovery products that will aid in both water and energy conservation.
