Solace Homeworks Picks an Obvious Place to Start

Solace Homeworks recently installed a thermodynamics solar hot water system at their retail store location in Burnaby. As registered installers with SolarBC they are making the most of the spring sunshine.

“Solace installed solar domestic hot water systems 25 years ago so it is great to be getting involved again,” says Mike Masterton, an Energy Consultant with the company.

Garth White from Ark Homeworks came to the Burnaby showroom to help over-see the install. Ark Homeworks has been installing solar hot water systems in Victoria as another one of SolarBC’s 13 registered installers in the province.

“It works well and looks great," says Mike, who explained that the company decided to sell solar again because they feel the time is right. "Folks want to reduce their carbon footprint, reduce their dependence for energy from utilities and save money.”
