District Staff Asked to Submit Their Best Solar Snapshot

The District of North Vancouver is on a quest for the perfect photo showing off their solar potential and sloping terrain.

"It’s a chance to show off creative ways to represent these two qualities," says contest organizer Vik Kapoor, Building Official and Residential Plans Reviewer for the District.

The photo contest is open to all district staff, including the Operations Center, Municipal Hall, and FireHalls. The contest will run until March 27th at 4pm, and the top three pictures will be selected. The winning shtos will replace those on their community page on the SolarBC website and for their promotional material relating to the program.

"We have many excellent photographers here," says Kapoor. "I hope this engages staff to participate and help promote solar potential in North Vancouver."
